Happy March, everyone! Today I wanted to share 5 things I was loving in the month of February. One of them is my new holy grail hair product!
I hope everyone had a month filled with growth, positivity, and happiness. If it wasn’t the best, that’s okay too. It’s the start of a new month, a new day, and a new week. You got this ?.
In February, my boyfriend and I celebrated six and a half years together, I started a new health & fitness journey and it was my last month of being 25. It was a good month!
Okay, now I want to talk about all the good products I loved this month! I even found my new holy grail hair products!
1. Blue Light Blocking Glasses
These blue light glasses have been a lifesaver. They’re designed to block the harmful blue light coming from computers, phones, and monitors. They also help with eye strain, headaches, and dry eyes.
I personally struggle with all these and I honestly think these glasses significantly help with all those issues! If you spend more than 6 hours on a computer I would highly recommend giving these a try. It has a slight yellow tint that makes looking at a screen easier on the eyes, plus they look cute!
2. Color-Changing Light bulb

I got this color-changing lightbulb for my little brother and he loved it. He ended up surprising me with one a few days later and now I love it! It has 16 million colors to choose from, voice control, and a schedule setting.
My favorite feature is that I can schedule the lightbulb to turn on, off, and change to a different color at the time I schedule it! It’s dimmable, 60W equivalent, and saves energy. I love changing the color to red at night to help me fall asleep faster. There are so many other features, but a cool one is featured in the video above!
3. Skincare Mini Fridge
How cute is this mini fridge! It’s my new favorite way to store all my skincare products. I love that it’s compact, aesthetic and keeps my skincare cold for a nice refreshing feel in the morning.
Benefits of putting skincare in the fridge include:
• decrease puffiness & redness
• keeps products fresh & last longer
• prevents bacteria and fungus
I was previously keeping my rose quartz roller and face mask in the fridge in the kitchen, but this is much more sanitary lol. It also doubles as room decor!
Take a peek inside my mini-fridge/skincare here.
4. Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer
This hair dryer has been raved about for over a year now and has almost 5 stars on Amazon. It’s honestly worth the hype because I can’t get a similar look with a regular hair dryer. It leaves my hair volumized, smooth, and bouncy.
I’ll let my hair air dry about 80% and then I style and blow dry it with this. My hair is pretty thin and short so it only takes about 10 minutes to get the perfect blowout. I know it looks big but it’s honestly not that heavy when I use it for a long time. I find it gives me the perfect blowout in half the time and half the effort of a regular hair dryer.
5. Rusk Shining Spray
I recently rediscovered this shine spray and wow I can’t believe I went so long without using it. After I style my hair, I spray it with this shine spray and it looks amazing. The mist is so fine that two sprays are all you need for the perfect shine. It’s not heavy, it smells amazing and my hair looks like I just walked out of a salon. It perfectly breaks up curled hair or adds shines to straightened hair without that heavyweight feeling an oil leaves. 10/10.

We like a lot of the same things! I love my ordinary skincare and my Revlon dryer. I bought those blue light blocking glasses. Now that I started blogging my eyes hurt by the end of the day!

Same! My eyes start to turn red at the end of the day, but these glasses help with straining! Hope these help you too!

Hehe thank you for sharing, Erika – very cute and aesthetic post as always! The blue light glasses look sooo helpful, right now, as an alternative, I just always have the night-mode display on my laptop! 🙂

Loved reading this! I love how, in a society where rushing and critique are the status quo, you are standing still, looking back, and appreciating things from the month that went by. We can all learn something from that! I especially enjoyed the recommendation of the one-step hairdryer as I always hop in the shower and wash my hair in the mornings, and walk around with wet hair for a few hours as a result. This might just be the trick to convince me to blow-dry, as a regular styling routine is too much of a hassle for me. Thank you for the inspiration, will definitely look into this! Love, Susanne

Thank you so much for this thoughtful comment, Susanne! I’m in a place in life where being present is so important and appreciating the things I do have. The blow-dryer is really good for styling your hair! I also walk around with wet hair, but I recently started using a micro-fiber towel hair wrap so it can dry quicker, then I go in with the blow dryer!

You should try them out! In the meantime, try setting your monitor to “night-mode” if you have one!
